Introduction to Gcalctool

Gcalctool is a powerful graphical calculator with financial, logical and scientific modes. It uses a multiple precision package to do its arithmetic to give a high degree of accuracy.

This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS-7.0 platform.

Installation of Gcalctool

Install Gcalctool by running the following commands:

./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

This package does not come with a test suite.

Now, as the root user:

make install

Installed Programs: gcalccmd and gcalctool
Installed Directories: /usr/share/help/*/gcalctool and /usr/share/gcalctool
